New PS pump and Driftmotion PS hose, still not working
Guys,
Due to a badly whining PS pump and leaky high pressure line, I bought a replacement PS pump from a member here, and also a new high pressure hose from Driftmotion. Installed them, bled the steering and put the car back on the ground. Now there is no whining, but the power steering isn't working. Steering is, just feels like I am trying to turn a tank...
Because the Driftmotion line didn't come with the sensor or idle up valve, I just left them off. Do you still need to plug the sensor in though even though it isn't connected? Or what could cause my lack of power steering?
Thanks,
Jonny

LOL - my friend who was helping me grabbed the "wrong" fluid container
Mine doesn't whine so unfortunately I have no advice for you. Did you bleed it well and make sure there are no kinks in the line? I think the Driftmotion line is
1. Way too long
2. Should have straight ends and not 90's
3. Crush washers are too big.
While I am glad they make them for $65, I think they could do a much better job
