Along those same lines, has anybody used that Lagank (sp?)? I'll post a link when I'm home, but it's saposta level out the lumps of touch up paint. I want to try it, but I'd like to hear prior experiences.
Taka,
Just make sure it's fresh. From what I can remember about paint, it should be less than 6 months old for best results.

Just did some touch-up paint work to my renaissance red SC over the weekend. I used the Lexus dealership touch-up paint for my car, mixed with clear coat (1:1 ratio), applied to the alcohol swabbed paint chip/scratched areas. Applied the necessary coats to allow for a raised blob then let set all week. That lead up to this past weekend and I used the Langka blob remover that your talking about- very impressive! That stuff is amazing, it must be some sort of a heavy-duty rubbing compound. It stripped off a puddle of sloppy touch up paint that the previous owner had put on over a year or so ago like nothing! Just use it sparingly, it doesn't take much. It will leave the paint in the area looking very dull, but that can easily be fixed. I did so by using some Blue Coral product at my roomates car washing place, I think it was just a light rubbing compound/wax of some sort- whatever it was brought the shine back to the surface instantly. If you need to know exactly what it was I can find out for you. The touched up areas are BARELY noticeable, some not at all. Any further than a couple of feet away you can't notice a thing! I would take pics, but I don't have the means of posting them. Just buy the more expensive Lexus touchup paint, along with a little tube of clear coat (got mine at Walmart) invest in the Langka (only $15 ??), and take your time with doing the work and you'll definitely be pleased.
