SC300 aftermarket seats that will fit...
I would like to know what kind of aftermarket seats or bucket seats will fit into the SC's: a perfect fit into the stock seat brackets? Is there such a seat? I would surely love to shave off some weight off of my SC300 5 speed. Any comments or answer will be truly appreciated.

In terms of aftermarket replacements, MKIV Supra seats are a great upgrade. The seats are leather, lighter, lower, and surround the body better. Weight savings is on the magnitude of ~50lbs.
The MKIV seats on my list eventually. At 6'3", I would appreciate the added headroom from sitting lower to the floor.
There was a forum member who tried the S2000 seats without success. He started a thread about it. I know there is a guy with RSX seats. They look really sporty and nice.

I have a question,
I have a recaro profi spg xl seat from another car and I want to put it in the drivers side for the sc300.
Which seat rail/slider combo should I use?
I think its a bit wider than some of the other ones and lots of the rails say "not for wide seats"
will it fit?
I really like the Nagisa Auto Super Low Seat Rail (SLR) because Im tall and I want what will put the seat the lowest
thanks

i put a recaro in my soarer. i simply ground off the rivets that allowed the standard seat to pivot so the rails came off, then bolted them to the car, bolted the rails i got with the recaro to the seat (basicly just 90deg steel) sat the seat in place, tacked them to the rails, removed seat and final welded it. took about 15 minutes.

tons of help knowing that someone already did it
im not sure if what you did was the same as what I was thinking. what im thinking is grinding the rivets off those 4 tabs that bolt to the floor pan and bolting those 4 tabs to my recaro rails
