how much HP and torque does a '92 SC400 have?

how do they do in the 1/4 stock?

250hp, 260ft-lb torque
i believe that the SC does somewhere between 15.2-15.6 second 1/4 mile.

According to a '94 Motor Trend issue or was it Car and Driver, well any way it had the 0-60 @ 6.8 and the 1/4 @ 15.0. I've also seen the times @ 15.2 and 14.9 in other mags. The time were fast in '92; however, just respectable for luxury coupes today... Time for some mods...

One more voice - I saved 2 mags (Car & Driver 10/91 and Automobile magazine 9/91) that contain road tests of the '92 SC4. C & D reported 6.7 0-60 and 15.2 1/4 time. Auto mag reported 6.9 with no 1/4 time. They also reported WOT of 145 and 150mph. Agree - those were great specs in '92 - pretty vanilla today.

im planning on getting a used '92 SC400 w/in the next 6 months. i like them because its one of TOYOTA/LEXUS' first V8. my family owns nothing but LEXUS' and TOYOTAS.
