I fell in love with my RX all over again!
Okay, so maybe this isn't thread worthy, but I'm going for it anyway...
In October of '13, my wife and I went on a little spending spree at our local dealership. We traded in her 2005 Acura TSX for a 2013 RX350 and traded in my 2011 Toyota Tacoma for a 2014 IS350.
I drive my IS on my short weekday commute and a bit on weekends, while my wife drives the RX daily to her work and we use it a lot on the weekend.
Last weekend I needed to pick up some furniture for our upcoming baby so we traded cars for the day. It's the first time in a long time that I spent that much time, alone, in our RX. I used the ML system in a way I would NEVER do with my family in it. I had lots of city driving and highway miles. I forgot what a wonderful vehicle it is. Everything it does is so effortless and smooth - from the soft, quiet ride, to the ease of parallel parking, acceleration, etc.
The car is just so fantastic, I felt like I had to share. Now, if only the rain would give us a little break so I could get her washed up in the way she deserves.
I hope you fellow owners feel the same way.
Happy motoring, friends!

No, I don't play soccer!
JDR, maybe you'll find more reasons to drive the RX especially when the little one comes along. Congrats! And thanks for sharing your story. It never gets old to me even after 16 years. Hope you're able to give the RX a little love back by giving her a bath soon.

I totally understand where you are coming from. My wife and I owned a 2010 RX350 and traded it in for the 2014 IS250....my wife felt she needed a more "hip" ride, and we just LOVED to latest IS. She quickly realized how much she missed her RX, and so did I. Needless to say, we made it a 2014 December to Remember and we couldn't be happier.

The pursuit of F
JDR76 and others, I can relate.
It's why I gravitated to the RX three times! I really like my IS, but when I drive the RX, it has that intangible buttery smoothness to its operation the IS falls a little short on. The NX has BIG shoes to fill.
