Rattle Noise Inside Panel Rear Hatch Door '10 RX 350
I know there are numerous threads regarding interior rattle noises but as a new owner I just had to voice my thoughts.
After 2 weeks with my CPO 2010 RX 350 (20K miles) I noticed some ratte noise from the back so I proceeded to start with the elimination process;
1) Checked trunk compartment for lose items - all secure rattle still there.
2) Removed rear tonneau cover - rattle still there.
3) Removed panel that meets tonneau cover - rattle still there.
After examining the rear hatch door I noticed the upper panels seem loss despite the lower panels which hold it in place being tight (I checked the screws) although it could be something else since I would think once the rear hatch closed it should be snuged but who knows. Since it's still under warranty I'm going to ask the dealer to fix it before I try to resolve this myself with felt or something.
I'm just suprised that I'm having this issue with a 20K mile car and the category Lexus is in. Not to bash the brand and on the contrary, the RX has eveything I'm looking for at this time in my life with our first newborn on the way; comfort, reliability, smoth ride, decent gas mileage and good storage space without being a huge SUV, but I would expect this vehcile to be more solid. Hopefully they sorted out these kinks in the new/future models if they want repeat customers.
Cheers!

I've had 3 Lexus vehicles, including 2 RXs. None of them had (or have) any rattles except for the cargo cover in the back. That rattled in both of our RXs, and also in my mom's 2007. I took the covers out, and solved the problem. It gets in the way, anyway.
Take it to the dealer and make them fix it.

I took the car to the dealer this weekend and they fixed the rattle. They troubleshooted it first by removing eveyrthing in the trunk (which I already tried but let them knock themselves out) and came to the conclustion that it was the rear panels. As per the report "Insulated rear panels to remove noise".
I'm a happy camper/new owner once again
Thanks to all for you comments!
