New Used RX owner: Should I expect LCPO to be as good as a new one?
Hi, Everybody:
I am a new owner of a lcpo rx 350 2010. I am expecting it to be as good as a new one. To be honest, I am not very capable of owning a lexus rx because I am short of money (like always).
Do you guys have any suggestions about how to minimize the cost? Maybe this is a stupid question.
Thanks anyway.
Larry

NOT as good as a new one; you didn't pay 50k like I did either; shouldn't buy more vehicle than you can afford; welcome to the forum!!! Don't drive 80 all the time like some do and you will get better gas mileage!!!

The pursuit of F
I've bought two used RX Gen 2s and one brand new Gen 3. I only bought a new one because the F-Sport just came out and I couldn't wait, otherwise in my experience, Lexus vehicles are so reliable that buying a lightly used vehicle (< 50K miles < 3 years) is worth the extra dollars in savings if you plan on keeping it for less than 5 years. If you intend to keep it much longer, you're probably better off buying new since near 90-100K miles that's when the bigger costs of wear and tear items more likely will come up.
