Is this a good deal?
2012 fully loaded, msrp is $50,500 and they're selling it for $4k under msrp + $2k for windshield dmg. Basically $6k under msrp and sale price is $44,500. I'm trying to get the vehicle for $43,800 which would be at invoice. When I looked at the invoice, it shows a $700 charge for LDA, The salesman said it was for Lexus dealer? advertising fee or something.
What do you guys think? Is $44,000 a good deal? Keep in mind I qualify for the military incentive ($750) and owners loyalty ($1,000) so I should be able to get it around $42,000 + $495 dealer fee.

Fully loaded?
Does it come with Heads Up Display (HUD)
how about the mark levinson sounds?
if you get this, you will be driving an RX that looks like a 2010/2011 model.
so you might end up having buyer's remorse in a few months.
just remember the 2013 are right around the corner.

I've seen the 2013's...and from what I know of, there's only a few changes. Diff colors, enform 2.0, new bumper/grill/headlights. I was considering waiting until the end of 2012 to purchase a 2013, but the best I could probably get is $500+ invoice and they might not have the loyalty cash. This would be an extra $1,500 + $,2200 (windshield dmg) = $3,700 more for a 2013.
I'm going to try to see if I can get it $1,500 under invoice.

@ leehom, it seems you did your reasearch already.
as others have mentioned, deals are state dependent.. i don't think i can pull off that much discount here in CA.
so if you're ok with a 2012 which is a pretty good SUV compared to the alternatives.. then go for it!
what color are we talking about here?
the reason i ask is, if it's a little harder to find like a matador red or the nebula gray, you might have difficulty finding the same package from a different dealer..

This dealership has at least 4 Nebula Grays in stock. I'm in discussion over a starfire white pearl with black interior.
I just sent them a long email explaining my reasoning why I should get $1,750 under invoice. I doubt they'll go through with it, but I'm not worried. My back up plan is a 2013 at invoice 5-6 months later. I don't care for a fully loaded or near fully loaded vehicle to be honest. I rather have the base model with just a few options to keep the costs low. I also prefer the 2013 headlights/grill compared to the 2012.

Lexus Dealer Advertising? I have no clue, the salesman told me it was a Lexus fee passed on to the dealer to advertise the RX, which sounds like bologna to me because there's already a $495 dealer processing fee which includes advertising.
