2011 RX350 - Quick Question
A question to fellow CL: I've noticed a little snout behind the rear view mirror on my 2011 RX350. There is nothing mentioned in the owner's manual that I could find. I thought it could be a rain sensor. Can anyone confirm this?
My RX350 has the following pkgs: Comfort Pkg, Premium Pkg, NAV, 12-speaker, and Towing Prep pkg.

Nice RX350 - timlrx11. I have exactly the same.
I also wondered what that snout thing was. Thanks MEP7557
Question - I still have another 2 months to go before Sirius trial subscription ends. I am happy with the NAV. And the "Traffic" has been helpful a few times - when giving me a heads up on traffic x# of miles ahead, or serious road delays.
I wish I could get JUST the XM Traffic, and NOT get their music stations or the weather stuff. Any thoughts by anyone on above?
I did have a dash mounted sirius reciever on my previous lexus, but got rid of the sirius and the lexus - some time back. Didnt care much for their audio selections. I have enough to listen to between CD, NPR, iTouch via USB etc.

Lexus Test Driver
I wish these subscription services would be more flexible in their offerings. My Lexus Enform just expired and I only use the e-destination part and have no need for the other. Called Lexus and they will not offer just that part of the service even though others have requested the same. Call Sirius/XM and ask, make sure your comments get noted, maybe someone will see it. I made sure Lexus noted my comments.

to the OP, it the rain sensor is directly connected to the windshield. the ugly box thing that sticks down is the camera to watch for on coming traffic for the auto high beams if you have it.
to smehta, I am in the same boat as you. Sirius offers 77 dollars for the full year for music but I dont listen to sat radio and find that my radio is better. However, they force you to pay $12 a month for traffic if you get it alone. what a rip.
