Well I haven't found a solution to this problem, however I have found a work-around. Anytime a song and artist information fail to update automatically (usually when I first turn on my radio) I just push the "AM/SAT" button 4 times to scroll through all the SAT and AM banks and back to where I started from and it is flawless from then on until I turn the car off. Not sure why it works, but it works, and then no more annoyance. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you guys/gals out there!

Thanks for the info. I'll have to try that. I did have the Nav map updated and everything was fine with the song updates for at least a month... then..... back to the same issue. It's not as bad but frequent.
