I find it very frustrating that the XM/Sirius display on my 2010 RX350 only shows the first sixteen characters of the song title and artist. This is like the dark old days of DOS 5.0. Surely there must be a way around this - even a hack of the operating system for the nav/audio??

I assume this issue is common to all Lexus but dont know if it is a Sirius transmission issue (I suspect not) or common on other brands?

Insights would be appreciated.....

I read that XM transmits 32 characters so why why does a 2010 Lexus not display them all ??

Yet the display works fine for titles/artists on CDs, MP3s etc beyond 16 characters??

I am at the Lexus Dealership and I asked about it a second time. It is a limitation. Ihave a 2012 RX350. I was told that it may be corrected/enhanced on a newer model.

I have seen 32 characters displayed on rental cars.
