Battery Recommendation

Couldn't be further from the truth. Made by Johson Controls. As mentioned above, the largest battery supplier in N/A.

Congrats, your Interstate battery is also made by Johnson Controls.

RX Battery
My Rx has the original Battery from 2005 and still working. It's been 10 years and still going strong, however I recently bought the Costco (Interstate) Battery and waiting for my old battery to crank slower before replacing it. Any tips on replacing the battery? Do I have to keep a battery charger connected to the lighter to keep the power going or is that not necessary? Will the clock and other settings be effected but just disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

Corrosion was what caused too much resistance between the + terminal and the cable that finally resulted in the battery not being able to get fully charged and not being able to start the car. I know who manufacturers these, thank you! Being an Interstate dealer, I bought one from them and was told by my rep that porosity in the recycled lead was what caused my problem, not a leak between the terminal and case as I had suspected.
I was also told that the same manufacturer builds different levels of quality to match various pricing tiers. I know Walmart likes beat up suppliers for better pricing, I also know Costco likes to give their members the best quality they can offer. Similar product from the same manufacturer, is the quality the same? I doubt it.
