Headlight leveling warning light
I see a few threads on this but I still have a couple of questions. The auto leveling warning light has come on a couple of time now on my daughters 04 rx330. The lights do adjust when vehicle is started so the motors are working. I assume this leaves the sensor? I will also note that the lights are operated in the "auto" mode and the warning light has come on when just the daytime running lights are on. If this sounds like a sensor issue, great, probably a fix that I can take care of. 1st question, is there a sensor front and rear? And for question #2, where is it or they located? thanks for your help and any suggestions.

If the lights lower and then level out, I think it's ok to assume the motors work. It probably is a sensor issue, but I don't really know. I haven't seen anyone that has had issue with the auto-leveling yet.
The sensors are only on the rear. They are located on the rear control arms. I know member RamAirRckt posted a thread about them and headlight aim a while back. You may want to PM him for more info about them, as I haven't ever messed with them.
Here is that thread I was talking about
