Pioneer 5500 and "Audio Off"
Searched around the forums and did not find a response to this problem I am currently having. I recently had the following installed in my 2009 RX350:
Pioneer 5500 Head Unit
2 10" Pioneer Subs
1 Pioneer Amp
Axxes Harness for Steering Wheel
Metra Harness for head unit
Took a trip and came back and noticed my battery was dead. When I started my car again, it display "System loading" on the top Lexus screen. After that All I got was bass from the subs and no sound from the speakers. I push the "Audio" button to display "Audio Off" and I have no way of turning it back on. Anyone had this problem before?

While I don't have OEM navigation or an aftermarket deck, it seems to me like it's an electronic "glitch". I recommend disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery for at least 30 mins to let everything reset again, and see where that gets you. Just a word of caution, you will lose all radio presets and memorized seat settings. You will also have to reinitialize the windows and moon roof. (see manual or search forum for instructions). Also, after doing this, do not worry if you have an unusually low engine idle speed. Just drive around the block a couple times and it should fix itself. Let us know what resetting everything does for you. Good luck!

Unfortunately, no dice. I unhooked the neg and left it disconnected for more then 30 minutes. I then tightened it back on to have the same error. When I started my vehicle, "System is loading. Please do not power off" is displayed on the information screen while my Pioneer radio goes to Radio/CD/USB what I choose. The audio in the car is now off and there is no way to turn it back on. I am only getting bass from teh amp, no sound from the speakers and I have checked the EQ settings.
