Default Key not working but remote is ok

Hi all,

I just notice that I can't lock/unlock my Rx330 using the key.
remote is ok but not key.

anyone experience this?
please advice...thanks

does the key turn in the cylinder?? if not, spray some lubricant. do not use WD40, as that stuff is garbage and dries things out.

yes it's turning smoothly

but it feel like no mechanism attach to the lock.

next step would be to remove the door panel and take a look inside.,

perhaps a plastic clip which hooks the rods to the cylinder has broken

Aha...sounds more like it...
Just wondering how hard and can I just replace the hook?

the hook will be fine since its metal, its the plastic clip which could be a problem. dealer would have them, prob special order.

main issue will be accessibility, very tight working conditions.
