I don't think it's unusual with a/c. My last 4 cars (RX450h, Lexus CT200h, Subaru WRX Wagon, and Toyota Prius) have dripped a small puddle of condensation on hot days.

Yes, it can be. Depends on the weather, especially the humidity, along with what are your settings for the AC. For example, do you have the recirculate button on or are you constantly pulling moist air from the outside?

+1, it's normal.

You'll notice a bigger puddle on days with high humidity.
