when I got my rx330 2006 I was searching for a way to play music via bluetooth and it seems the consensus on "the internets" is that it's not possible - only phone calls can be played.

Fast-forward a few days ago I was playing with google voice directions on the new iphone google maps app and when I started the car and the iphone paired up it could give me voice guidance via car speakers. More or less the same functionality as with phone calls, i.e. the CD is paused/ the radio is muted when the next turn directions are due. Overall - great functionality - not extremely useful with built-in navigation but if you need something new, not on your system - it is a good option.

But this get me thinking - if google can do it why not Pandora or ... or some other audio-streaming app??? So the purpose of my post is twofold - to let you guys know about the new google map feature and see if anyone is aware of other apps with such functionality. Any app developers out there - I think a few of us are ready to pay a few bucks for a chance to wireless iphone-rx pairing for music playing and streaming.
