Hello!
Hey everyone, found the forum a while ago and figured I'd take a few minutes to join.
First I'll introduce myself, name is Dave and I'm living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I own a '02 Subaru WRX, a '05 Kawasaki ZX6R, and a very recent purchase...a '04 RX330. I've got a baby on the way (my first!) and the WRX just isn't going to cut it, so I picked up something with a little more room.
I've always been a big fan of Lexus, never thought my first would be a family sized SUV but that's life. It is silver with the performance package I believe, has 144km and rides like a dream.
There are a few minor problems I'm hoping to get some input on from you guys, nothing major but:
1. Driver side sun visor seems to be broken. Doesn't stay up all the way and makes a huge crack noise when I put it to the ceiling.
2. The front compartment in the center console with the two cupholders opens, but not to 90 degrees. I can barely fit a cup in there...
I can live with the problems but would like to get them fixed if it's not a huge issue.
I guess that's it for now, I'll stop back in a bit and see what you fine folks have for advice.
Cheers!

Welcome to Club Lexus, Prairieboy.
Can you tell where the problem is with the visor? Is it the visor itself or in the brackets in the ceiling? Also, what color? Here is an ivory set on eBay, just in case.

See if you can take a picture of the cup holders and post if possible. It, too, can be replaced. Problem is that the woods do not always match up even when you select the correct color/type wood. Had to have mine replaced under warranty when the lid for the cup holder would no longer open. So, they do go bad.

Hi and welcome. This might just simply be a case of the mechanism that allows that the lid to open fully being broken or not on correctly. I would suggest to remove the centre console from the car and check it and out and fix it out of the car. Fairly simple to do tbh.
