Default Help 2005 RX 330

Hey guys just purchased a RX330 2005 to go with my BMW coupe, which i love, but the ride of the lexus is uncomparable. However, went to go get the emission test today and it did not pass due to the cigarette lighter not getting power, thank you TN. Can someone tell me which fuse to change in order to get this to work, and where the fuse box is located? Please help

Thanks

Tyler

What?? They didnt pass your car because of the cigarette lighter not having any power?? What kind of **** is that? I`m not even sure where the fuse box is located. I never had to mess with that yet. I do know there are some fuses under the hood by the battery.

thank you finally someone understands my frustration. When my partner called and told me, i got the vehicle for him to replace his Chevy Silverado, i was like WTF are you kidding? I have never had any problems at all. Another twist to the store he took it to the oreillys store right next door and the parts manager said they sell fuses all day long from there because their machine fries them so lol welcome to my life anyway thanks for feeling my frustration. Maybe i should have got the X5

Nah, the 05 RX is a very nice /dependable vehicle. Are their any more fuse`s under the dash? Update; Here is what I found on Answers.com..."To the left of the brake pedal (also, right behind the parking brake). It's got a black cover protecting it."

Just make sure all tsb`s are done, change fluids, if AWD make sure you do the transfer/rear diff fluid. cabin filter, engine air filter, Power steering fluid, transmission fluid.
