Identify this part
I found this when I opened the rear hatch on my RX. I had a spare rim in the back so I'm wondering if this came off the sensor or one of the tools the service dept was using when they mounted a new tire.

This is what is known as a Schrader valve. It is commonly found in tires (though most in tires are slightly different). They are most commonly found on vehicles on the High and Low pressure A/C line. Most valves on tires do not remove easily.
I would suspect it came from your tire or was a spare from an a/c service.

Check air pressure in the spare. If it has pressure, then most likely this thing got dragged in during service.
By the way hold the piece between your index finger and thumb, and look directly at the pin head (the thing in the middle). This is what you see inside the valve stem of a tire. If you press the head down the, you let the air escape.
