Have you tried adjusting the headlights? Perhaps they are too low and that is why they do not appear bright enough?

can't adjust them, i have the AFS system therefore the height is predetermined.

i don't think its an issue with adjusting the lights......the bulbs are probably knackered.

would love to do the quad projector setup....but its a bit too expensive and i'm not brave enough!

i was worried about how i would change the hid bulb...let alone try and do some DIY!

exmeaguy what are you talking about OE bulb is 55Watts, 35watts are the china made aftermarket stuff that cost about $5 or less purchase in bulk.

PM LuxuryMod, I think they do retrofit for HID, they might give you a deal. The retrofitter that I use is very expensive. There are also guys on HIDplanet that might be able to help you do a retrofit.

If you are that worry about changing bulb, get parts from dealer and have them put it in for you, it might cost you a bit more but you have a peace of mind.

uh, I get that every now and then......., but it`s a wash due to all the other blinding headlights that come toward me at night.

Sorry you are wrong. The OEM bulbs are 35 watts. The user manual says 35 watts and that matches the writing on the bulb itself which I removed.

ok you are right, I went online and take a look at the owner's manual is 35W. I was so used to 55Watt bulbs with my old retrofit that I forgot. my bad.
