Disabling Traction Control on an awd RX350?
Does anyone know of a way to defeat or turn off the traction control system on an all wheel drive 2007 Lexus RX 350? I have had instances where the snow was so deep that any wheel spin resulted in the traction control kicking on and almost getting me stuck.
Any assistance would be great.
Thanks

On my 08RX AWD the trac off button is next to the Tire pressure reset button. Look at the lower edge of the dash below the steering wheel near where your right knee is. You should see the squiggly line symbol and off with a button to push.

I beleive that only FWD RX350 has traction control. The AWD version of RX350 does not have traction control, but VSC (vehicle stability control). This one you can turn “on” and “off”. I don’t recall where this button is, as my wife is primary driver. See your owner’ manual.

If anybody else finds a way please let us know. I tried the 'Brake Pedal Dance' and this didn't seem to work. I have not yet tried removing the sensor attached to the air filter while the engine is running. Has anybody tried this and can they confirm this does in fact work? There has to be a way...
