USA to Europe conversion
Hello, I'm new in this forum and I'm also a new owner of a used 2006 RX400h from USA. the problem is that I live in Greece so I wonder if there is a way to convert the mpg gauge to lt/100km gauge and to convert the degrees of temperature to Celcius (EUropean version).
How can I get the map DVD of Greece?
Sorry about my English....
thanks

First, welcome to CL, greeklexus!
Your English is fine, far better than my Greek (none). You probably have already tried http://www.lexus.gr/, the official Lexus site, but since I am unable to read it, I'm guessing there may be a link to a telephone number or e-mail for local customer service that can better answer your questions.
I'm sure there must be a European version of the Nav DVD, and the metric conversion should be easily accomplished by means of a hidden maintenance menu Lexus can advise you of anywhere in Europe. This will not affect your speedometer, but should convert all of your screen displays to metric. I have accidentally activated this function on my RX330 and do not remember how I changed it back, but I think I got into it by exploring the screen menus just a little too much.
If you have additional questions related to your hybrid, this is the forum. For questions about other features of your RX, try posting in the more active RX 330-RX 350 forum to get more people viewing your post. I'll move it to that forum now with a redirect just to see if we can get more input from our European members.
I have fond memories of Greece having visited a few times, and I miss your beautiful and historic land. Good luck, and enjoy your new RX!

Lead Lap
Europeans tend to design there cars to run on RON95 while Japanese, Australian and US cars generally work fine on RON 91. Higher Octane fuels are not necessarily better for engines. The engine needs to be designed to make use of them.
