Cool RX350 tail light upgrade/replacement

I removed that small panel and found some screws and nuts for the outter tail light lens assemble. So I assume that I need to remove the screws (3) and remove the lens assemble before unplug the bulbs from the socket, right?

Next, I guess the back-up light upgrade will be a bit challenge since I have to remove the inner panel of the liftgate in order to reach the lens assemble. Cool!

You should not have to remove the lens assemblies to change the bulbs, just the interior trim panels.

I didn't go any further. I just removed the inner panel and saw some screws. Thanks for your tip on the other forum.

theres no need to unscrew ur outer lamp just to get to ur bulbs

the inner panel of liftgate must be pry open with force, get some thin strong material n wrapped it with cloth for prying, gd luck on tat
