Clear bra...1 piece or 2?
For those of you with a clear bra on your 330 or 400h, do you have a 1 or 2 piece clear bra? If you have a 2 piece, how noticeable is the seam?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

if you are talking about the 3M type plastic that is glued to the surface its a great idea. i have it on the door handle cups, rear of the outside mirrors, and a thicker version on the HID lites to stop rock damage. It is also in the outside edge of the doors. One lite replacement is over a grand if you lose it to a rock. I did not like where it started and stopped on th e hood i could see the line in every application. however this also means there is no chip protection on the hood, and a couple rocks have done damage by the grill. if i had to do it again i would put it everywhere. it is a huge markup item for the dealer so see if they will negotiate on the price, aftermarket sellers do it also.

i am getting the 2-piece installed tomorrow
the one piece covers just the front bumper
and the two-piece adds parts of the hood and the mirrors
i will be looking into adding the headlights later on
2-piece installed is $450 for me

If you're in SoCal. My recommendation goes to our own CL preferred vendor. Aerotect. He's done many RX330's including ours and other vehicles in my household.

flipside909: The 330 and 400h have different bumpers. I'm not sure exactly why, but for some reason the 400h uses 2 pieces for the front bumper.
Barefoot B: The kit in your link looks bad. The piece that goes on the hood doesn't look like it would make it around the grill. Also, the bumper piece isn't going to cover the entire bumper. There's nothing there that would cover the very top part of the bumper (that is almost flat). Compare the kit in your link to the diagram in my link and you'll see what I'm talking about.

A one piece can be done, but with a skilled installer which is a fact. Xpel merely offers pre-cut kits for many cars...and it simplifies the installation for pros and those DIYers alike. Not many installers know how to wrap a full one piece kit without marring or overstretching the clear bra film. I prefer a one piece kit myself.
