Button next to PWR Door in RX 330
Hi All,
got my RX 330 2 days back....Wow nicer than what i expected or tested.
but 1 thing that is confuses me, the button next to the PWR DOOR that looks like an eye or radio waves or some sort of a circle brackets on each side.
i pressed it while the car in D gear Position. It only beeps. (the Button is inside). when i release it nothing happens.
i pressed it while the car in N gear Position. It only beeps. (the Button is inside). when i release it nothing happens.
i pressed it while the car in P gear Position. It only beeps. (the Button is inside). when i release it nothing happens.
So......cannot find or figure its function. the manual does not indicate this button's function.
can anyone help me...
Thank you

In our '04 RX330, there's a blank filler panel immediately to the left of the power rear door button. According to the manual, this is the location of the air suspension step-in height control button--but the icon in the manual is nowhere anything like what you describe.

I've got things sorted.
Hay...
well, the button was a sensor silencer??!!?
when i press it (the button is inside) both, the front and rear sensors are activated.
when i release it (the button is outside) only the rear sensors are active.
I think this option is to avoid the headaches when in a traffic jam.
Unfortunetly, this version does not come in air suspension level selector.
by the way,
4 people until now thought or think it looks like an X5!
I guess lexus spent sometime in redesigning the RX outlook.
thanks guys...
