I had this nice 2002 RX300 since 2005, 28K miles until a couple of weeks ago I traded it in for a 2015 Acura MDX. When I finally took everything out of the car to give the key away, I felt literally sad but blessed at the same time to own such a nice car. Past 10 years of my life with this car was nothing but safety, reliability and fun and It was 161K miles before turning the engine off for the last time.

I really wanted to stick with another Lexus. I have an ES330 but I wanted a SUV with 3rd row seat for kids and their activities but a GX or LX is too expensive for me so I went with a MDX with tech package. I like all the new features that came with the car but little details such as uneven gaps between the doors and frame and not so luxury interior for a car that cost that much, make me miss my RX.

Well, I just want to say, "Thank You" everyone who contributed to this forum. It was so helpful when I had issues with door actuators and other DIYs helped me to make the ride so much better experience.

I will be stopping by once in a while since I still have the ES, but I really enjoyed reading posts from this RX forum. I hope every RX owner here stay safe on the road and make this forum even better.

sad to see the rx go buddy!; but hey; ya gotta do what ya gotta do. If ya need the extra room for the kids, etc then hey; so be it.
