Default Broken rubber part, can’t identify what its called?

Hi, what is called this rubber part? It’s obviously broken :/

what is it? Can i fix it myself or its too difficult?

The most common problem with the CV joints is when the protective boot splits or cracks it will get damaged. When this happens, the grease comes out and moisture and dirt get in, causing the CV joint to wear faster and fail due to lack of grease lubrication and damaged boots. I would recommend you get it repaired soon, or you could cause some damage possible to the transmission.

is this can be the cause of this awful noise or it’s something different?

The boot is part of the drive-shaft. The drive shaft will make noise when it is spinning. If the noise you experience happens art standstill, then it is not due to the shaft/boot. Surprising you did not mark the other drive boot in your first picture which is ripped too.

Once again we have no idea about your mechanical expertise as well as tools you have.

Lots of places will do free or low cost evaluation of the problems. Lexus will do the evaluation for a fee.

Don't waste your time just replacing the boot. Replace the axel while you're in there.
