Default 1999 Rx300 Bumper Cover removal

I need to take the bumper cover off my 1999 RX300 and am wondering if anyone has done this and can give me some tips. It seems pretty straight forward. Taking off the splash panels in the fender wells seems like the hardest thing to do. I have to replace the license plate nuts inside the bumper cover.

There is no need to take the splash covers off completely. There is a lower grille that needs to come off that could be tricky, but overall, pretty straight forward. 4-5 lower bolts underneath 2 or 3 in the fender area, and the 5 screws that hold the lower grille in place. Then go ahead and slide it straight out. Once I had mine off, I actually drove it around looking like a complete dummy, but I could care less. I held some of the lower plastic coverings up with mini bungee cords because they hang up on the tire, and went on my way. The looks I was getting driving a Lexus without a front bumper were priceless...

Is this for the front bumper or the rear bumper. Any thoughts on where to get a replacement.

He is clearly talking front bumper cover. Word of advice: Pre-order those captive nuts before you take the cover off, because the dealer may not necessarily have them in stock. And yes, they are only available at the dealer.
