Replacing/repairing door weatherstripping
So I'm pumped about having fixed my rust, scratches and getting a rear bumper protector to cover up the chipped paint. One other item I'm thinking about is repairing or more likely replacing the black weatherstripping at the bottom of the driver front door. It's torn just at the rear edge of the front door. I tried to Gorilla Glue the torn edges back together, but it did not work. I searched this forum and see the same issue was posted back in 2005 without resolution. But this poster explains the same issue I have. I also see his dealer wanted $153 either just for the piece or for installation as well; likely over $200 now. Does anyone have any recommendations for either repairing the tear or whether this part can be bought after market with easy install? I can't find it, but maybe it's not called weatherstripping. Thanks as always. While I'm waiting on any responses I think I will search the forum on having the roof rack removed. It's broken and I think the RX looks much better without it. I have the first kind of rack with the four strips running front to back as mine went in service June '98.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I'm also in need of new weatherstripping.
Found this for $92:

Anyone know of any aftermarket/replacement strips I can use instead of the OEM overpriced part?
Thanks!
