Ignition Coil
Just wondering if anyone knows how to change an ignition coil and if so how hard of a job is it? Is it something I can do myself? Thanks in advance!!!

It's very simple, one 10mm bolt if i remember correctly. But it depends which coil, the one's in the back are hard. For the front one's you only have to pull of the plastic engine cover which is 3 bolts.

Look at the DIY for replacing spark plugs.
For the odd-number cylinders [the ones near to the firewall], you have to work blindly and the difficult part is removing the clip connector. Small hands help and long arms also make things easier on your back.

I have recently done all six coils in my RX300. The front three are a piece of cake. The back three are a little more difficult. If you are changing the coils, you should probably also change the plugs while you are in there. I found a tutorial online that was pretty helpful. Once you figure out the how, they aren't too bad at all. I did a few in the parking lot of AutoZone. Good luck!
