1. when my ac changes where the vents are blowing from i hear a grinding mechanicall buzzing for about 10 seconds. i assume its a gear stuck when changing the direction of internal vent directors? is this accurate and how to fix or stop it?

2. rear trunk seems to not latch closed when shut. i need to really shove it closed a few times before it catches. any ideas?

1. search "air servo"

2. You already know the answer ... The hatch needs adjustment or something is in the way rubber seal etc. Go to a body shop.
