Default Rear strut rods and control arms

Although there has been a number of threads about rear struts, strut mounts, and springs there have been relatively few about strut rods and control arms. On my 1999 AWD RX with 215K although I have replaced the struts, mounts, end-links and sway bar bushings I still have a clunky sound and feeling. I don't want to replace the strut rods and control arms unless there is a good chance it will fix my problem, as I have no interest in replacing the various bushings that secure the differential to the subframe, or the subframe to the body. Anyone with experience on this issue?

????? What's a "strut rod" ?????

EDIT: Never mind. I guess it's what I would call a "control arm" or a "trailing arm".

who replaced your struts? if you did it yourself...the usual source of most self installs are the strut top nut.
It may have backed out or was never fully down on that last thread.
I experienced it myself during my strut installation following the factory torque spec. The strut piston rod rotated or the nylon in the lock nut fooled me into thinking it was set. Zipping the nut with my cordless impact for a few short blasts fixed the situation.
