a/c problem
hey guys,
another issue with my car, the a/c is acting weird. it only blows cold air on the driver side and warm air on the passenger side. seems as though it's cool on the furthest left vent and it get warmer going towards the right vent. not cold on the back vents too.
any ideas?

This thread have stopped here, not sure what happened next
I have the same problem with my RX300, but the passenger side will start cooling only after engine runs for a while or you can say after the CAR is driven in good speed for about 10-15 minutes.. is this A/C GAS issue

The other problem can be with vents/ducts/thermostat (dual zone ac thermostat.
There is a self diagnostic posted some where .. search or maybe some one can point it out.

I just filled up the GAS and it blows cold everywhere now.. Thanks SalimShah
The backside A/C air pressure is little less , the mechanic said he will have to clean that area inside to see if that helps.. Is it advisable? Can it harm something else?
It is hard to trust the mechanics now a days On yeah also Doctors -

Anyone know what the high and low side pressures
should be when recharging or checking the charge?
I observe static pressures of 40 psi low and 150 psi High; 30 psi low and 165 high with aircon at max cooling and engine at idle.
Center vent temperature is 48 degrees F.
I can't tell if there is liquid moving through the gage glass as there are no tell-tale bubbles.
2002 RX300.

Looking through some notes I made a few years ago, it seems that an acceptable range of Hi-side pressure is 2.2 to 2.5 times ambient (75 degrees F). So my high side is slightly low at 160 psi. The sight gauge has no bubbles so I think it is OK for now. Also, I have a cheap set of gauges from Harbor Freight and there's no telling what sort of accuracy they provide so better to be where I am at now.

my gx 470 a/c is making a weird clicking sound. sometimes i just turned off the a/c to make the sound go away but can't live without it coz of the hot texas weather. any suggestions how to trouble shoot and fix?
