Knock Sensor Question

Will the knock sensors from a 2001 Toyota Highlander work in my 1999 RX300? The cheapest I have found for the Lexus is $122.99.

They should if they are for a 1MZFE (V6) Highlander. I know some guys over on www.solaraguy.com that will even adapt GM knock sensors to their Solaras and I've even seen one relocate them so that they are easier to get to.

Not sure about that, OE and aftermarket are showing different part #'s. How much is the Highlander sensor?

If I remember this one correctly, there was a slight design change between the one that came out for the 99-00 1MZFE RX300 and the later model. I remember seeing a discussion about this on SolaraGuy, had to do with a hole on the bottle on the sensor, but the newer one should still work.
