Do any of you RX owners out their have trouble with your memory seat position?I have a 2001 AWD w/90,000 miles on it now, and this seat memory button acted up at times when I bought it last year.Now when I wish to use the seat memory I push the top button and its supposed to beep,so you can choose what button you want to save as memory.Mine does not do this any more.Any suggestions? Seems like these vehicles are some what prone to electrical gremlins at times.

With so much of electronic sensors and computing modules, there is a heavy demand on battery. So basically your battery must be in A1 shape.

The next problem is with the software/program which at times can go crazy. Typically they are reset when you turn the ignition off.

The third category is user problem. As an example, the seat memory function only works in vehicle in Park.

Then the sensors and the computing module can go bad too.


It can be any of the factors above.

I also have a 2001.....My seat position buttons work fine MOST of the tiime but once in a while they will not work at all!!!!

It usually"clears" in 24 hours....its my wifes car so I have not chased the issue

Thats how mine started out,now it doesnt work at all.
