Hello, I want to change data of car's computer from American to European - miles to km, F to C. How can I do it?

This has been discussed in the past. Try doing a search. As I recall, it isn't easy. I think there were some Russians that had worked out the conversion, and were offering the conversion service to Europeans. It's more than a simple jumper.

If you are talking about just changing the units displayed in the information window, I think there is something in the menu function that allows you to select miles or km, F or C. My 330 has one for sure, but I forget about the 300. On the 330, the default is metric if you unhook the battery long enough. Check your manual, or contact Lexus if yours is missing. Search the RX300 forum for details.

After having the battery changed I had a whole new set of numbers to deal with - most noticeable when freeway exits appeared much sooner than I expected from the nav screen. An investigation proved I hadn't read the fine print - my turns were flagged in km rather than miles.

Now, changing the odometer and speedometer are an entirely different matter, and will require replacement parts - not ordinarily user-serviceable.

Hi to all, I search this forum and Google to find the way to change to metric with no results. I just imported 2003 RX300 from US and would be handy to have display I got used to.
