The window needs to be reseated, otherwise the sensors are thinking there are fingers or another obstruction in the way.

What I am saying is the window is not seated properly.
Now, there is such a thing as a reset of the window motor (but I am not directly familiary with this procedure). One of the other members may be able to chime in on this.
My only experience with the window was where it was rising rather slowly and this was due to a mechanic issue involving lubrication, which also may or may not apply in your case.

You may need to return to the repair shop with this document ...

Unfortunately you will need to remove the window motor from the regulator to reset internal limit switches for the Pinch Protection feature. If you feel comfortable with removing regulator just remove motor from regulator. Once motor is removed you connect it back to vehicle and hold up on the window switch for 10 revolutions or more. Reassemble regulator amd motor, reinstall in door, hold up on switch until window is fully seated and you will hear a small click noise in switch assembly. This clicking noise is the internal relay resetting its limit.
Good luck

The Owner's Manual says that an impact to the glass might mess up the pinch sensor.
I would hope you wouldn't have to tear the door apart to reset the pinch feature, but I don't know. For what it's worth, you can recalibrate the pinch feature on more recent Lexus/Toyota products by opening and then closing the window by holding the button the whole time. (Hold the button down to open, and then hold it again the whole time it's going back up.) That's worth a shot, but based on the other posts it sounds like that may not work.
