Default help with lighting DRL's

I know this has been discussed several times.....I have abused the search feature, and cannot find any exact details on how to diasble my Daytime Running Lights????.....

Many people say it is the fuse or plug right under the battery... I have removed my battery and tray... I see a lot of different plugs and wires, as my fuse box is right there...Does anyone know the exact plug/harness/relay to disconnect? any pictures......or color of the plug... The only sensable plug I see is a yellow one - I have always known yellow plugs to be associated with airbags....so I am uncertain...

Right now I have my battery and headlights completely out of my car (painting housings black)........so if anyone knows please help....

thanks felllas

If you look under the battery tray, upper left side, you will find a plastic connection with a male/female connection. Disconnect it and no more DRLs.

I tied it up with red tape.

This was a shot from underneath (and it is tough to see where you are at, but where the red tape is at), that is the connector.

All the other lights will work just fine, including the brights. I taped them up to proect the connections from the elements.
