I was just wondering if their is any truth to the statement that the 1999-2003 RX300 comes with factory tint on the front windows? As far as I can tell their isn't any on the front windows just on the back windows and rear window. Has anyone from Florida got their front windows tinted and have you gotten any tickets for the mirror tint? Any information on these issues would help. Thanks

No Lexus comes with factory-tinted front windows. One exception would be "heat-rejecting green glass"; not sure if that is a Toyota or Honda feature.

The front windows do have a slight tint. It seems to filter out UV rays as I don't have a trucker's arm.

I have a 2001 RX300. And there is some kind of tint on the front windows. Its kind of like a tinted front windshield. The back windows have a darker tint on the them. With a mirror finish. I had more tint put on all of my windows. They put a silver tinted on my front two windows. Its not exactly the same as the back ones. But its close. When you get them tinted. Dont go too dark. Like the limo tint. You wont be able to see through them at night. I live in Monroe county. And drive in Dade and Broward all the time. Never had any problems.
