Nav voice guidance and Bluetooth phone
When you driving using navigation and on the phone the navigation lady is still talking. This is very frustrating. when I'm on the phone I don't want anybody else talking in my car. People on the other end are asking who else is in your car. Toyota just recently change this feature. Before if I'm on the phone navigation keeps quite. I have no idea why they change it.
Does it bother anybody else?

I turned all the Nav voice stuff OFF because it was way too talkative in my 13 Rx. By default I turned it all off in my 16 Rx and have yet to see if it's improved. I don't want/need waypoint guidance like, "continue driving straight on I-10." Even with everything turned off you can still press the Map/Voice button and get the system to tell you what you should do at the moment.

I must check out the manual and find out how to disable the yapping lady, as last time we were heading over for an hour trip to friends, my little son fell asleep in the car, so i parked and could not find the option quickly to shut it up so it doesnt bother him, so I gave up and turned off the nav, used the phone instead.
I do think that how they manage nav/music/phone integration is atrocious for a nice car, but thats how Lexus is for technology....Some things are nice, some are just clunky. Do they have any people testing their car/infotainment in real life, or is it all robots?
