Default Power Back Door Malfunction

So, after i finished replacing the motors in my front two door lock actuators, I decided to look into the issue of my back hatch not auto opening or closing. When i press and hold the fob button, the hatch unlocks, unlatches temorarily, doesnt not lift, and then latches back. I cannot hear the motor working to raise the door. I checked the valet switch, unplugged the battery, checked the arm of the motor that raises the trunk (still intact, no broken c ring), checked any fuse related to the power back door... nothing. Am i missing something?

Does it open or close from the button on the dash?

I would bet both the key-fob & the dash button operate a relay rather than the motor itself. Not sure what's available on-line for wiring drawings on these cars but I would start there.

I just heard "dash button" and "valet button" for the first time. Where are these? Is the valet button the one in the glove box? I just noticed that one while changing the cabin air filter.
LoL!

The dash button is lower left near the fuel door button.

As already mentioned, check the rear gate disable button in the glove box. It's in the upper-left corner.

Default Struts

The lift gate struts may be worn out. The motor need some assistance.
