Looking at 2015 rx 350

My experience with 2015 RX @ 26,000 miles has been very good. No problems. Solid vehicle, but not sporty or particularly fun to drive. Big plus - regular gas. 20 mpg city/25 mpg highway.

My 2015 RX has been flawless. I drive in sport mode (4th gear max) around town. It's easy to see out of and easy to park as the power steering has tremendous boost at low speeds. I've had my younger son drive it and he loves it! Plenty of storage for sports hobbies and shopping. Possibly the most reliable RX ever made. Down the road after the warranty expires you should be OK but if you have one of the few that fail under 100k miles repairs can be very expensive. The self leveling headlight unit goes for about $2200! It's a great buy used and about as low risk a used car as you can buy anywhere.

I talked to a guy in a parking lot yesterday. He said that they loved theirs, and it was their second one.
They got 210,000 miles out of the first one.

We've had our RX a little over 2 years and I have no major complaints.. A 25K mile RX might as well be new since these vehicles are known to run a very long time is properly maintained.. I would buy another in a heartbeat, the only reason I may not get another is if my wife decides she wants a GX next time ..Otherwise it will be an RX again..

Well, it looks as if she's going to buy it, but she is going back on Friday (a three-hour trip one way) to see if they have gotten the tobacco smoke odor out of it.
They claim they have a "process" and I said she should ask for a new cabin air filter. Could it be that they use an ozone machine?
She really liked it, so they are haggling over the smell mostly.
I have told her that there are several ways to get rid of that, and I wouldn't reject the car, but she is pretty sensitive to tobacco smoke.
I told her what the guy in the parking lot said, and what everybody here has said so far, so thanks for the help, everybody.
She will decide Friday.

A. Buy it.
B. Nothing to watch out for...they are among the very highest rated vehicles, period.
Not saying nothing can ever go wrong, but it is very unlikely with the '15 RX.

Actually, there were two. A gray one with 25K miles, and a smelly red one with 22K miles for $1,000 more. The red one also had some small cigarette burns in the headliner.
She is buying the gray one.
Thanks to all, and I'll probably hang around, since I seem to be acquiring an interest in Lexi.

She will be very happy. Best thing about it is that someone else already took a sizable depreciation hit, so she is getting a car that is nearly new for much less than new.
Do hang around here, as you will have questions, and the folks on here always have an answer.
