O2 Sensor Location
Got a code P0157 which is for O2 sensor 2 in bank 2. I know it should be downstream of the cat, but does anyone happen to have a diagram I could reference. Would like to test it and see if the issue is just a simple replacement that I could DIY. Thanks

Just replace it and I'd also assume that'll fix your issue.

Given that it "sensor 2", I assume there's also a sensor 1. Figured a diagram would help ID these so I don't waste my time taking off the wrong sensor. And yes I did find one crawling under there - just don't know which one it is.

No, I don't play soccer!
delink, maybe look at this thread. There was a service campaign on the O2 sensor. Check the Lexus Owner's website to see if your RX is included. Notices went out last year.

Finally got around to fixing this. Got lucky and swapped out the front O2 sensor downstream of the cat. So it looks like the convention in this generation of the RX is the front cylinders are bank 2 and the rear cylinders are bank 1. Very easy DIY - didn't even need to jack/lift the car.

dwlink,
I'm glad you fixed it.
I have the same issue with the P0157 code. Lexus service wants $710 for O2 b2s2 replacement.
Where did you get yours and how much it cost you?
Also, did you use any manuals to do this repair?
Could you please post a link or picture maybe?
Thanks in advance!

It starts out with naming bank 1 or 2 based on TDC of cylinder 1 on start of combustion stroke. Then the engine got mounted transverse and bank 1 is on the fire wall side and 2 on the radiator side.

2010 RX350 O2 Sensor Locations?
Just got a check engine light diagnosed at my local Lexus dealer today. They are showing a P0157 code for bank 2 sensor 2. I want to see if I can replace this part myself since the dealer has quoted my a small fortune to replace this sensor.
My understanding is that sensor 2 is post catalytic converter. Is this correct?
Also since this is bank 2 would be the front of the engine and theoretically the sensor "should" be easily accessible from under the car? Is this correct?
Has anyone attempted replacing this sensor? I can't find many resources about this by searching rx350 B2S2 and I figured I would ask around here.

Call your local dealer.

Keep in mind the 2T2 vin numbers were made in Canada. If you don't have North American car number is different.
Use Vin Number.
Good luck!
