System loading, don't turn off the power??
Have had my new car for just about a month. In the past fews days every time I push the start button to crank the car, the screen is all black for a few seconds then displays the above message and gives a progress bar. I have to wait for it to finish before I can see my backup camera, nav, radio, telephone--anything that would normally be on the screen. Once it finishes with it's loading, then the audio is off every single time. I have to push the on button to get any sound. It didn't do this for the first 3 weeks that I owned the car--does anyone know what's up?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Something is wrong - take it back to the dealer so they can repair or replace the problem component.

OP, yes, I agree with Clutchless... take your RX in for service.
...and two other things: First, welcome to CL and congrats on your new RX. Also, while the forum and lots of helpful folks are here, remember if you have a problem with your RX, give a call to your Service Advisor. Establish a relationship with them, and it will pay off in the long run. You also have access to the Technology Specialist at the dealership that's full time job is to assist owners with how to use your new Lexus. They can be of great help not only on the phone, but if you would like someone to walk you through how to do something on your vehicle one day.
Good luck on that repair, and enjoy your RX!

That is strange. I've only seen that when the battery gets disconnected. Is the car starting fine? But definitely take it to the dealer.

No, I don't play soccer!
Welcome to CL, JLanier. Sorry to hear you're having problems one month in. What year is your RX? If it's within warranty, definitely get in touch with the dealer. They'll be able to troubleshoot the problem. I believe it's something I've seen in the 2RX forums with DVD based nav. The 3RX updates via USB now. Good luck and keep us posted.
