Navigation question '10 rx
I traded my 04 rx in for our '10 rx before uncle sam packed up me and the fam and sent us to south korea. My question is can i goto the lexus dealer in seoul and buy a sd card with their navigation maps in english? Ive spent i think days googling this and found nothing and a few hours staring at the big ugly 10 inch navi at the px which i can deal with the problem is, the location of the 12v outlet in the rx. Any help would be apprecaited!

With the 10 the only power outlet is deep inside the center armrest console. The inner box must be removed to access it. However, from 2011 on they added another outlet in the open area of the center console that you can reach from the side. Here is a link to someone who added it. I think all the parts from the dealer were under $50. I need to do this to my car. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...nt-to-add.html
Regarding the Nav update. I think even with the new DVD the dealer has to use their special software to upload and integrate it. You should call the dealer.

You're probably better-off buying a handheld navigation unit or using your cell phone.
OEMs make it impossibly difficult to switch locales, probably to limit the gray market exports.
Even units of measure are not changeable.
Your best bet might be one of these units:
