parked n locked - cell phone ring sets off Alarm?
When I leave my cell phone in the locked car.... when the phone rings, it sets off the car alarm. Has anyone experienced this? Any work-arounds? (other than the obvious, don't leave the phone in the car :-)

Just a thought, but is your car equipped with the glass breakage sensor. Also try changing the ring tone. If you have the GBS the ring may be similar to sound waves that set the sensor off but I do not have GBS myself.

Samsung Galaxy S3...
I thought it might be the GBS, as I do have it...
the ring tone doesn't appear to simulate the pitch of broken glass...
In my LX, my dog used to set off GBS when crying in a high pitch...

I will experiment with this... I think the car is extra sensitive to interior noise when the GBS is enabled. PITA, if you have dogs that cry in the car, don't get GBS...certain pitches set off GBS continuously, even when not loud...
