2013 RX Mark Levinson Volume??

I agree Anita. I'm happy I purchased the ML, as the 2 basic sound systems would have been a total disappointment for me. I'm not into tweaking and modding things like the electronics in my more recent rides as others are -- but am happy for those that like the changes they make. I do still believe the overall ML experience in my 2013 gen 3 is inferior to my 2006 gen 2, but such is life. My tunes go on when my ignition is started and go off when it does. That's the way I like it.

Im the same as you guys. I dont like messing around with the audio in a car. Id rather just get it from the factory. As for the audio, its good enough for me so im not complaining. Im guessing the RX will be getting the 17 speaker 800W setup when the new gen comes out

wondering what eq settings people run the ML at? I pump the low and high one notch down from max and keep the mid at 0. Gives the sound the additional dynamic that I'm used to.

Ditto. Mid at 0, bass and treble near max which produces (to my ears) richer clearer sound the higher the volume especially above 30.

bass at max, treble at minimum and mid in the middle lol. Oh and when you guys say zero, do you mean in the middle or minimum? Might give your settings a try.

Had all the windows closed and went up to 62 so specifically, 62 is maximum. I had a headache after . Its really loud but its hard to tell because its so clean sounding. My wife said she could hear me in the supermarket

Lol, you know you could have picked a quiet section to do the volume test.

I dun no about ML, but my Premium do go up to 60. Anyways, I am not driving the RX as much as my wife does, and the only time I drive it = when I take her and my baby somewhere, so I can not enjoy loud music in it.
If I was to enjoy Music in my RX, I would rip the whole Stock system in the RX, and replaced it with
Infinity Reference Speakers + Amplifier + 10" Sub, together with an Alpine Player with Bluetooth, USB port, Navigation, DVD, CD player, could be Blue Ray as well + Seperate Equalizer from Infinity as well.
I have had many experiences with different sound system, but I have a Soft spot for Infinity. They sounds very Epic. Just my Opinion.

I had a chance to drive an RX350 while the 450 was in for service. I would have to say the ML is a much better system than the standard/premium. The highs on the standard sounded muffled, even with the stronger bass on the standard, it sounded very dirty. The ML system has a more mature sound, the highs were clean and even with the weaker bass as plenty have mentioned, it does a good job by itself. If I had to pick again, I'd still choose ML.

Im very happy with the system. It aches to listen to music in my wife's mercedes and that has a harmon kardon system in it so all good
The volume is fine, with all windows up, 45 is seriously maximum, and thats only when im by myself, otherwise the wife shouts and says she has a headache.
With windows open, i can stretch to max but the car can be heard from the other side of the road. Once again, it comes down to the fact that the system sounds so clean that it doesnt hurt the ears as much as any other system would. I only go to max if theres a song on that i really enjoy! Otherwise itd be Max at 50
