Strange Noice From Underneath Rear Of RX
I got such a quick response on my last question, I thought I would ask another. This might be a little more difficult. Our 2013 RX 350 has a little over 2000 miles on it. In the 3 months that we've had it, this has happened twice about 2 or 3 weeks apart. Both times late at night after sitting in the garage for several hours.
There was this sound coming from the rear, underneath, somewhere between the rear wheels . The only way to describe it is, it sounded like a small portable compressor. By luck I pressed on Start button twice to Accessories, and that stopped the noice. Any ideas on what that sound could be?
I was planning to call the service dept. but thought I would ask here first.

In your manual it will speak of it. It's normal. From time to time after you shut it off various pumps will activate to purge gas's from the system. Nothing to worry about.

Wow. Thanks Cruiter. I tried to look it up in the manual, but had no idea where to look, or what to look for. Man, I'm I glad I found this forum.
