RX450h: How to install the fog light
All,
I felt like a loser for not be able to install the HID fog light kit for my 450h. The problem is I can't access the fog lights area at all.
Have anyone ever done it on the 450h? It seems like there is No rooms at all. Please share pics if you can.
Thank you,

No, I don't play soccer!
Don't kick yourself. It's a major PITA. The covers under the engine have to be removed/moved and the fender liner unclipped on the driver side because the trans cooler is in the way. Securing the ballasts can be challenging. I'd recommend an installer to save yourself the grief. That's what I did. Even bulb changes are difficult.
Here is the view from the driver side fender looking in. The fog light is to the left, trans cooler on the bottom.

As anita said it is doable and I have done it. You have to remove the front cover underneath. They are mostly push pins so they are easy and If I recall there are a few bolts. The driver side mudflap and fender liner has to be undone so that you can bend it out of the way..
Once you get past the intimidation factor it is really not that bad.

Thank you all for the tips and pics. It is do-able but lots of works. I took the "advice" from Anita and installed the aftermarket bulbs instead of installing the HID kit. One of the main reason is because I live in Nebraska and there are winter salts which overtime will rust these ballasts out (just like Anita experienced with her 2 kits).
Here are couple pics I took.

GoHuskers, the fog lights look great. I can't tell they're halogen. Yours are whiter than mine too. Which bulb did you wind up using? Are they brighter than the OE bulbs?
I just want to add I wasn't trying to discourage GoHuskers or anyone else from changing the fog lights over to HIDs. My experience has not been the best so I thought I should say something. It took a while to realize it wasn't meant to be. Again, for me. And only one ballast bit the dust because of salt.

The bulbs are much more whiter when the OEM. It actually looks really nice and I like it a lot. beside, it is SOOOOO cheap so if something goes wrong it is just pocket change. I bought the Philips H11 CrystalVision Ultra Headlight Bulb from Amazon for less than $25 a pair.

I recently upgraded my 2009 RX400 to a 2015 RX450 F-Sport with LED headlights.
The mainbeam however is a halogen bulb and has a yellow cast cast compared to the LED headlights it is very poor.
Has anyone upgraded the halogen build to a LED unit - and if so are there any issues to be aware of?
I'm in the UK.
Thanks..

I did completely sealed LED projector units from Morimoto. Still a pain to install, but I'll never do it again and no ballasts to worry about like with HID kits. Been running great for a few years now. Totally plug and play. I still have the OEM units with the bulbs inside, so should something ever go wrong, I can put them back in.

I just posted some updated pics that I took of my THREE Years+ old aftermarket LEDs for both low beans and fogs for my CT200h (I also replaced the OEM halogens for the fogs for both of my RX450h and LX570. The low/high beams were OEM HIDs on my RX450h and LX570.)
